Baby (0-18 months)

Partnership and a collaborative approach between educators and parents are crucial at this early stage of the child’s development.

We ensure that parents are comfortable and supported in their child’s physical and emotional needs are met while their child thrives and continue to grow.

Collaborative approach to meet physical needs: A childcare is more than just caring for a child, it is a community where we (educators) work together with you (parents) to ensure that your child thrives from the very start. Collaboration ensures that everyone is on the same page regarding the child's care and that their needs are consistently addressed and therefore they are in the best position to grow, learn, and prosper.

Environment and experiences based on individual needs: As parents, we know that no one child is the same. Recognizing that each child is unique, our approach involves tailoring the environment and experiences to the specific needs of each child. This could include considering factors such as temperament, developmental stage, and any special requirements or preferences.

Continuity of routines from home to childcare space: Consistency is crucial for infants, so maintaining familiar routines from the home environment in the childcare setting helps create a sense of security and stability for the child. This seamless transition reduces stress and anxiety for both the child and their family.

Primary caregivers form a the child and their families: Having consistent primary caregivers (Educators) who develop a deep understanding of the child's needs and preferences, as well as building a relationship with the family, fosters trust and enhances the quality of care provided.

Experiences promoting self-discovery and interaction with the natural world: Infancy is a critical period for sensory and cognitive development. Providing opportunities for the child at an early age to explore their environment, interact with age-appropriate toys and materials, and engage with nature stimulates their curiosity and supports their overall development.
